Derek Holst joined PHH-PC in September 1991 as a Reservoir Engineer and was appointed to Vice President in October 2006. He currently manages local projects and oversees all financial and marketing operations of the company.
Derek has participated in numerous simulation studies of large, multi-zone gas reservoirs with complex gathering systems, gas storage reservoirs, acid gas disposal, and CO2 injection. He has also been involved with determining optimum depletion strategies and reserves for oil reservoirs through simulation of black-oil models. Derek has also provided continuous support to clients on how to best model their gas fields and ultimately determine the optimum exploitation plans.
Derek holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (1991) from the University of Calgary. He is a member of APEGGA and has over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
