Frank Sorensen joined PHH-PC in March 1986, became Vice President in 1993, and in October 2006 was appointed to the position of President. He oversees all local and international operations of the company.
Frank has participated in well over 150 Canadian and international reservoir engineering studies involving the use of black oil, fully compositional, pseudo-miscible and chemical reservoir simulators along with integrated gas reservoir/surface network models. He has conducted, supervised or assisted in ongoing reservoir management of several North American gas storage projects, and performed scoping studies for many other potential storage projects. In addition, Frank has contributed to software development and training.
Frank holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (1982) from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of APEGGA and SPE, and has over 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
