Dr. Peter Holst founded PHH Engineering Ltd. in 1977 and PHH Petroleum Consultants Ltd., a subsidiary of PHH-E, in 1983. He served as President of PHH-PC until October 2006, after which he became Chairman. Peter has participated in more than 200 reservoir studies and has contributed to the development of the proprietary software. He has written numerous publications.
Prior to founding PHH-E, Peter was a Senior Engineer at Mobil Oil Canada and Manager of Scientific Software of Canada.
Peter holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (1964, Gold Medallist) and a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (1965) from the University of Alberta. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (1970, Shell Centennial Fellowship) from the University of Calgary. Peter is a member of APEGGA, SPE, and CIM and has over 44 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
