Tom Hamp joined PHH-PC in 2007 as a Senior Reservoir Engineer. Prior to joining PHH-PC, he held numerous Senior Engineering positions with Petro-Canada since 1985. Most recently, from 2001 to 2006, Tom was a Senior Reservoir Engineer with the Medicine Hat Shallow Gas Team.
Tom has broad experience in oil and gas reservoir evaluation, optimization and development. His experience ranges from specialized work in oil-based coring and tracer testing for connate water saturation, to the development of economic and financial models for international properties. Most recently, Tom was involved with the successful recommendation and acceptance of a large shallow gas infill drilling project in S.E. Alberta.
Tom holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1972) from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of APEGGA, SPE, and CIM and has over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
